Summer League

The Summer League provides the opportunity for all TPGC club golfers to play a competitive, qualifying round of golf on available weekdays from April to the end of September. It allows all golfers to refine their handicap to their best competitive level.

The participants in recent years were primarily from the Seniors group but it is open to all TPGC club members. This year the 20 available days are primarily Tuesdays and a few Thursdays

The competition will be like previous years, as follows:

It will be a qualifying Stableford competition played over 18 holes using individual club handicaps.
  
It will be a roll up on the day with your normal golf group and enter in the Pro Shop prior to the round.

All normal competition rules apply.

Scores will be entered through computer.
£2 entry fee per round as per normal club competitions.
Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the competition with up to 75% of the income. Provisionally the best 8 scores will count for final league tables. There are currently 20 days available to play.

The league tables will be split into divisions, depending on number of players and their handicaps. The league tables will be updated on the TPGC website.

Currently the available days are:

April Tuesday 7,14 and 21. Thursday 30
May Tuesday 5,12,19 and 26.
June Tuesday 2,16, 23 and 30. Thursday 11
July Tuesday 7 and 28
August Tuesday 18. Thursday 27
September Tuesday 1, 8 and 22.

This includes 17 on Tuesdays and 3 on Thursdays.
