Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Joyce Peel and I am pleased to be Lady Captain here at TPGC for the coming year.
I have been a member for thirty years and I follow on from Pat Hopwood who has represented the ladies section and club for the past two years she has been an excellent captain and I hope to continue her good work.
I would like to thank Elaine Bird for agreeing to be Lady Vice Captain and I know that we will work well together.
I look forward to working with the Captain Mick Barnes and President Trevor Fox and I am sure that we will make a good team.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone a safe year and good golf for all of us.

Ladies & Senior Section Breast Cancer Charity Golf Day

Please see attached a letter received from the Breast Cancer Now thanking us for our fund raising efforts.
The Senior Section joined with the ladies this year for a charity game of golf which was enjoyed by all players who took part.
We hope to do the same event again next year and it will be in the diary during the month of May

Many thanks
Regards Kath Talbot

Cancer Relief Charity Competition 22nd September 2021

The Ladies of Trentham Park worked their magic on Wednesday putting together a highly successful mixed AmAm competition to raise funds for a most deserving cause. Teams combining members of the Ladies and the Seniors group came together to contest the honour of winning the day. All had a great time but at the end if came down to countback on the final six holes to establish the victors. Winners of the competition were: Wendy Maskery, Helen Burke, Paul Burch and Frank Ward. Star contribution to the winning team came from Helen who birdied the fourth to earn five points!
The Ladies organized a raffle to be drawn after the competition, and what a raffle it was! Fourteen prizes were up for grabs and thanks have to go to Britt Security Supplies, Pockets, Glazed Art, Terraces and Best Par None for their support. Thanks also have to go to the many individuals who also donated prizes, but a special mention has to be made of Lisa Nuttall whose company, Britt Security Supplies, donated a first Prize of £250 and another £200 to the charity collection. Lisa is a new member and has quickly established herself as a committed supporter of the Ladies.
Final figures for the money generated for Cancer Relief have yet to be established but at the time of writing this article the amount had risen to over £600.
Congratulations to Lady Captain Joyce and her team, who obviously had put a great deal of work into making the day a fantastic success.
