LADIES GINGLES COMPETITION
The ladies held a Gingles competition today and the winner was Pat Hopwood.
Hello Everyone
My name is Elaine Bird and I could not be more proud and honoured to wear my blazer and represent our fabulous ladies at Trentham Park Golf Club. I am truly looking forward to my year of office as our ladies are so much fun to work with. We are proud to have one of our ladies Pat Hopwood who has just accepted the office of the First Lady President which is a great stride forward and historic for our Club. I know already that with Pat as President and Mick as Captain we are together going to make a great team- we are especially looking forward to enjoying many reinstated social events once again. We have so many plans and exciting times ahead! Our Golf Club not only has improvements continually taking place on the course but in and around the clubhouse too.
Our Ladies “Pitch, Put and Prosecco‘ courses led by our highly skilled Professional Alec have been a tremendous success and have led to a new Ladies Academy which was trialled last year and with a few tweaks is here to stay as a follow on course. This has been taken up by so many ladies and we are looking forward to welcoming several of these ladies to our Ladies Section this year. The lady’s section has a bright future ahead and with lots of events both on the course and socially we’ve hopefully said goodbye to the restrictions of Covid and are really looking forward to a fabulous year ahead.

Here we have latest news from Stone Golf Club Ladies Open, 7th September 2022.
Four of our ladies played in the Stone GC Ladies Open, Linda Gregory, Sue Molinuex , Rose Mycock and Pat Hopwood. Without doubt the highlight was Pat Hopwood's first hole in one on the Par 3 - 9th following many years of trying. As they say the 1st one is always the hardest, many more to follow now!
Below you will see a liquid flavor of the great day all the ladies had celebrating Elaine Birds "Lady Captains Day"
Lady Vice Captains day was a great success, it was a little wet but didn’t dampen the spirits of those taking part. The Prosecco and Strawberries at the half-way house, supplied by Julie helped cheer everyone up. The food and service was excellent, helped along by Pimms on arrival to the club house, compliments of Duncan. The course was in tip top condition in-spite of the weather and a good time was had by all. Congratulations to the winners, Lisa Nutall, Rose Mycock, Lisa Gallimore and Sue Molyneaux.
