IMPORTANT NOTICE

The 2026 Senior`s annual meeting will take place in the clubhouse, on Thursday, 12^th November 2026 at 13.30

The Seniors’ Committee is inviting nominations for the position of Seniors` Vice Captain for the 2027 season and for four positions on the Seniors` Committee.

Two committee members are retiring: Bill Maddocks and Paul Burch;

and two committee members are up for re-election: Brian Freeman and Phil Maitland.

Brian and Phil have indicated that they would like to continue as members of the Committee

Nominees for Vice Captain and the Committee vacancies will require a proposer and a seconder, and the nominee must have agreed to have his name put forward. Nominations must be with the Secretary, Bill Maddocks, no later than Friday 6^th November 2026.

For the office of Vice-Captain, a ballot will only take place if there is more than one nominee put forward.

For the Committee vacancies a ballot will only take place if there are more than four nominees put forward.

In the event of a tied ballot, the Seniors` Chairman will have the casting vote.

Requests for any items to be considered for adding to the agenda must also be with the Secretary, Bill Maddocks, no later than Friday 6^th November 2026.

Note: The Captain and Vice-Captain of the Seniors are not automatically elected on to the Seniors’ Committee. A successful candidate joining the Seniors’ Committee will be allocated a role within the Committee.
